"RESPONSIBILITY & AI" WORKSHOP

Date:
05/12/2022 - 15:15
Typology:
Workshop

New technologies, especially AI systems, rise the need to re-evaluate our notion and practice of responsibility.

In particualr, we should consider whether it is reasonable to ascribe responsibility to an AI system and whether it could be the case to revise how we practice responsibility itself, at a general level. These are but a few topics that will be discussed on May 12th and May 13th in the Responsibility & AI Workshop, organised by the University of Vienna.

On this occasion, Prof. Andrea Bertolini, Prof. Mark Coeckelbergh, Prof. Vincent Müller, Prof. Fiorella Battaglia and many other eminent speakers will discuss different perspectives, trying to develop a common understanding.
